This piece was made as a PSA poster to get people to stop biting their nails. When initially drafting it, the tone I wanted to convey was gritty; I really wanted people to understand just how much nasty stuff is trapped under your nails, and frankly to express how gross it is to put all of that into your mouth. This rough style combined with a sketchy illustration is already something I enjoy, and I feel it was easy to translate that into a successful PSA poster.

This poster was meant to advertise the 2024 Flashes Forever Fest; an event that connects new KSU alumni with old alumni in a block party. The theme for the event was “Coachella”, and I really leaned into that aesthetic with the sunset palette and sleek graphics. I wanted people to expect the same vibrant atmosphere as the music festival the KSU event was themed after. The ad was successful, and even made it onto the sides of buses in the PARTA system!

This trio of posters were advertisements of an album by New Zealand artist Harvo inspired by the horror podcast series The Magnus Archives. I had a lot of fun with these, as I wanted to do each poster in a distinctly different style that is still accurate to the source material. The circular poster is evocative of the title of the album: Panopticon; where each icon represents a cell around the all-seeing guard tower in the center, as well as each mythical entity from the series. The hand-inked type of the second poster really stood out for the horror angle, while the linotype inspired third poster represents the reports you would file away in an archive.
